Edmund Dulac [illustrator]. Robert Louis Stevenson. Treasure Island. London: Ernest Benn Limited, 1927.Limited to 50 copies of which this is number 29 and signed by Dulac on limitation page. Octavo. 255 pages. 12 color plates.
Publisher's full vellum. Blue morocco spine label with gilt titles. Top edge gilt. Some abrading to spine label. Vellum slightly browned. Dry patch at bottom of front joint with tiny hole. Spot of worming to upper portion of rear joint. Modest toning to endpapers with some light soiling to half title. Boards slightly bowed. Housed in a custom cloth pull-off box with quarter stainless steel and black morocco spine label. A near fine copy. From the Estate of John McLaughlin.
