A. A. Milne. When We Were Very Young. [New York]: E. P. Dutton & Co., [1924].First American edition limited to 100 copies of which this is numbered 76 and signed by Milne on limitation page. Octavo. 100 pages. Illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard.
Publisher's quarter green cloth with pictorial paper boards. Gilt spine titles, slightly dulled. Top edge stained blue with remaining edge untrimmed. Mildly toned endpapers with faint offsetting. Pages are uncut and remarkably white. Dust jacket with mildly darkened edges and foxing. Lightly rubbed on extremities. Housed in a custom cloth chemise and matching slipcase with quarter morocco book-backing. A remarkably fresh copy in near fine condition.
