With a card laid in inscribed, "Greetings / from / METROPOLIS / Fritz Lang." Twelvemo. [1] - [194] pages plus two-page advertisement. With four double-sided sepia-toned plates depicting eight scenes from the film. Publisher's pictorial wrappers featuring a color painting of the robot Brigette Helm on the front cover. Bottom inch of the spine missing. Spine head a touch split. Spine slightly cocked. Light rubbing and soiling and some creasing to wrappers. Internally, very clean. A very good copy, unusually nice for this title. Also with a small handbill advertisement for the film featuring the art from the book cover laid in. From the Jerry Weist Collection.
