First published as an Ace paperback, Babel-17 explores the use of language as a literal weapon in, as Pringle writes, "a very colorful, inventive space opera." Winner of the 1966 Nebula Award for Best Novel (tied with Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes).

RARE with publisher's wrap-around band.

Condition: Front board warped; front hinge starting. Dust jacket unclipped (priced "21/-net"); light edgewear with some chips and tears; small hole to rear flap fold; wrap-around spine sunned.
