Philip Jose Farmer. The Green Odyssey. New York: Ballantine Books, [1957]. First edition, first printing. With a delightful inscription signed by the author to friend and fellow Peoria resident and first fan, Jack Cordes on the verso of the dedication leaf, as follows: "Jack, / I know you'll have / a pleasant voyage on your / green odyssey through the / matrimonial sea, because / you'll not be wanting to escape / your own personal Amra. / Philip Jose Farmer." Light rubbing to the dust jacket, with a noticeably sunned spine. Short closed tear to top edge of front panel of the jacket. Very minor loss to spine ends and flap fold ends.
