Jules Verne. The Green Ray. Translated from the French by Mary de Hauteville. London: Sampson Low, Marston, Searle, & Rivington, 1883. First English edition. Octavo. viii, 312, 32 [ads dated September, 1883] pages. Wood-engraved frontispiece and 43 full-page engravings inserted throughout. Publisher's olive cloth decoratively tooled in gilt and reddish-brown. Floral-patterned endpapers. Minor dust-soiling to cloth. Light wear to edges and corners. Bookplate to front pastedown.
