Three octavo volumes. 423, [1]; 352; 416 pages. Folding maps affixed to rear free endpapers. Publisher's red cloth in dust jackets. Top edges stained red. Jackets price-clipped, panels rubbed and soiled, spine panels darkened and lightly stained, edgeworn, with a bit of color dampstaining on top edges of versos. Corners bumped, extremities rubbed and worn, dampstaining on upper extremities and corners, light toning on sheets, previous booksellers' annotations on front endpapers, some places over-opened. Two Towers with ink gift inscription on front free endpaper. A very good set.Auction Info
