Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan and the Golden Lion. Grosset & Dunlap, [1924].

Photoplay edition. Signed by Edgar Rice Burroughs and the following cast and crew members: James H. Pierce (Burroughs' son-in-law, who played Tarzan), Boris Karloff, Frederick Peters, Robert Bolder, J. P. McGowan (the film's director), producer Edwin King, producer Joseph Kennedy (patriarch of the Kennedy dynasty), Harold Goodwin, D'Arcy Corrigan, publisher Alexander Grosset, and others. Octavo. Jacket somewhat browned, with the spine, corners and rear panel chipped, and a small tear on the rear panel. A very good copy with an excellent collection of associated signatures. Although this book is copywritten as 1924, it was actually published in 1927 to promote the silent film released in that year.
