FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO HIS MOTHER on the half-title: "To Mum, with all my love - Arthur, 18 Aug 73."
While not one of Clarke's more famous titles Rendezvous with Rama has won more science fiction awards than any of his other novels, including: the 1973 Nebula Award for Best Novel; the 1974 Hugo Award for Best Novel; the 1974 John W. Campbell Memorial Award for Best Novel; and the 1974 Jupiter Award for Best Novel.
Condition: Edges faded; front cover warped. Dust jacket unclipped (priced "£2.00 net"); spine lightly sunned; touch of edgewear to rear panel and front flap fold. Overall, a bright copy.
