First binding of blue mesh weave cloth with spine panel lettered in gold. Presentation copy with contemporary signed inscription by van Vogt to writer Arthur Wilson "Bob" Tucker on recto of blank leaf preceding dedication leaf: "Bob Tucker / Congratulations on the / fine job you've been doing, / and best wishes for future / success / A. E. van Vogt / Feb 13, 1948." Octavo, pp. [1-12] [1-2] 3-141 [142-144: blank], original blue mesh weave cloth, spine panel lettered in gold. A near fine, attractive copy in very good first state dust jacket (printed price "$2.50" at top of front flap; rear panel with photographs and biographical sketches of van Vogt and Hull headed "About the Authors") and fine later state dust jacket. Tucker's bookplate is affixed to the front paste-down. A nice association copy.More Information:
