Publisher's light grayish blue cloth, spine and front board lettered and ruled in dark red; top edge stained red, others rough-trimmed; in original restored dust jacket. Spine ends and corners rubbed; top corner of front board softly bumped. Endpapers faintly browned with some light offsetting to half-title-page. Dust jacket restored at spine ends and edges of folds with folds reinforced, piece of tape at verso upper edge of rear panel at flap fold, another removed from base of spine leaving faint outline; backstrip faintly dulled; few minor scuffs to rear panel; price-clipped. A near fine copy in an attractive restored jacket. The second of three Cellini Smith novels from a Black Mask contributor.
