Illustrated, with steel engraved plates and two hand-colored maps (one folding). Publisher's half-leather over cloth covered boards, titles in gilt. All edges gilt. Spine sunned, extremities gently rubbed, bumped, soiled and edgeworn. Light scattered foxing. Contemporary pencil gift inscription dated 1888. Very good.
