Uniformly bound in decoratively tooled contemporary leather with titles stamped in gilt on later morocco spine labels. Bindings worn, especially the spines. Contents sound with some light offsetting and scattered foxing. Contemporary owner's bookplates on the front pastedowns of each volume. Housed in a beautiful half-leather clamshell case with titles and bee vignettes stamped in gilt between raised spine bands. Small worn hole at bottom of textblock of volume two. A handsome set in generally very good condition and in a fine clamshell case.
