Description

Weird Tales May 1934 (Popular, 1934) FN-. Robert E. Howard's enduring character Conan the Barbarian made his first cover appearance in this issue, courtesy of artist Margaret Brundage. The story was the popular "Queen of the Black Coast", accompanied by works by C. L. Moore, Clark Ashton Smith, and E. Hoffman Price. The issue is complete and has clean, bright cover with minimal wear as well as a complete and unfaded spine. Only some trimming, primarily to the top edge, prevents it from grading FN or higher. From the Jerry Weist Collection.
