Description
Proof Copy of The Autobiography of Malcolm X. New York: Grove Press, Inc, 1965. One of only two proof copies. Octavo (6.5" x 8.5"). 455 pages. Front wrapper bears "UNCORRECTED PROOF" stamp. Blue paper wrappers bound by a red plastic spiral. Half-title page reads, in part: "Please note that you are holding UNREVISED, UNCORRECTED PROOFS of a book which will be published some months from now. When the book is offered to the public it will not look like this, errors in spelling, etc., will have been corrected, and the proper changes made in format."Condition: Front wrapper has detached. Lightly rubbed and toned. Very good.
