Description
Doc Savage (Street & Smith, 1944-48) Complete Run. A complete run of the January 1944-July 1948 issues of Doc Savage -- a full five years' worth. It was during this period that the series converted to a digest-sized format, and, as the title struggled along with other pulp series, eventually went from a monthly to bi-monthly schedule. The pulps are in overall Fine condition with complete covers and spines, and supple cream-colored pages. The pulps were being trimmed at the printer by this point, and are without the unsightly overhang often found on older issues. Approximate Bookery's Guide to Pulps value for group = $2,500.
