Unknown Artist. Custom "Thark" Figure. [N.d., circa 1980s]. Hand-sculpted and hand-painted Barsoomian Thark, based on the "Mars" series of books by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Artist unknown. Measuring approximately 9 inches tall on a 4 inch wide base. This fierce four-armed warrior comes complete with custom cape, weaponry and gold-painted accessories. Housed in a 12.5 inch tall glass display dome, with wooden base. Light rubbing and wear, with minor paint loss to figure. Very good. Rare.Auction Info
