Original preliminary drawing for illustration #32 (appearing on page 121) of Charlotte's Web, 1952: Mrs. Zuckerman gives Wilbur a buttermilk bath as Mr. Zuckerman watches. Ink on paper. Approximately 10.375 x 10.5 inches. Signed in full by Williams at lower right. Some asymmetrical toning across image area, affecting signature. Also a shallow paper clip indentation and a few light folds. Else fine. From the Estate of Garth Williams.
