First separate edition (?), originally published in Sixes and Sevens, presumably a copyright deposit copy, unmarked but with the copyright certificate with the embossed stamp of the Library of Congress. Thirty-twomo (2.875 x 2.125 inches; 72 x 54 mm.). 32 pages, in-text illustration and page 1 and ornamental tailpiece concluding the text; text partially misfolded before trimming, causing some minor shaving to the text. Publisher's saddle-stapled binding in the original illustrated wrappers with printed endpapers, front endpaper serving as the title-leaf with an illustration on the verso. Wrappers very lightly rubbed; extremities with barely a touch of wear. Bottom corner of the last three leaves softly creased. About fine, housed in a custom clamshell case. Uncommon Sherlock pastiche, featuring Shamrock Jolnes. Originally issued in cigarette packages (Arcadia Falcone, "Sherlock Holmes's Infinite Case Book," Ransom Center Magazine, April 2013).
