    S. Augustus Michell. County Map of Texas. 15.5" x 12.25", Philadelphia, 1860. Plate No.29, hand-colored map, with an intricate floral border. Details all Texas counties, with an inset map at lower left highlighting Galveston Bay and Vicinity. The Texas panhandle has been omitted. A beautiful, complete overview of Texas published on the eve of the Civil War.

    Condition: Light toning at edges, small spot of soiling at upper right corner that only affects a small portion of the border. Light foxing scattered throughout. Overall very good.
