Description
Emily Dickinson. Poems... Second Series. - Poems... Third Series. Boston: Roberts Brothers, 1891, 1896.2 volumes, 8vo. With facsimile of Dickinson's "Renunciation" on two leaves before title in Second Series. Original full gray cloth (Second Series) and full olive-green cloth (Third Series) over bevelled boards, covers and spines uniformly decorated and lettered in gilt, top edges gilt, each with silk ribbon marker (remnants in Third Series).
FIRST EDITIONS. Second Series with white silk ribbon marker and a blank leaf at front and back.
Condition: Minor rubbing to extremities; spine slightly toned on Third Series; small spot on rear cover of Second Series; some very minor soiling. Penciled price on the title page of Third Series.
