Publisher's pale purple cloth, stamped in gilt; text block edges untrimmed. Backstrip discolored; spine ends starting to fray; boards rubbed and lightly soiled, with surface insect damage present near edges; rear joint starting to split from head, but still sound; corners softly tapped; wear to board edges. Minor foxing and bookseller penciling to endpapers; dots of paper and glue residue where materials previously affixed to front pastedown have been removed. General mild dulling to text block, particularly at edges. Very good. Housed in custom clamshell.
