Wood-engraved frontispiece and two plates after Hablot K. Browne. Handsome red full crushed morocco by P. B. Sanford with gilt spine titles and five raised bands, and double-ruled gilt inner dentelles stamp-signed by the binder. Marbled endpapers. Trivial shelf wear to the boards, with two tiny white areas of soiling to the front cover. Two bookplates to the front endpapers. Very occasional light thumbsoiling to the text. A near fine copy of a scarce early Dickens piece written pseudonymously.
