Octavo. viii, 377, [xx, publisher's advertisements dated December, 1836] pages. Frontispiece, engraved title page, and nine plates by Cruikshank. Red pebbled cloth with blind-tooled decorations, lettered in gilt on the spine. Yellow endpapers. Binding worn and soiled, with front joint cracked and split. Frontispiece detached. Corners and spine ends chipped. Light scattered foxing, mostly to plates. All in all, a very good copy. From the Victor Gulotta Collection.
