Theodore Dreiser. The Financier. New York: Harper & Brothers, 1912. First edition. Octavo. 779 pages. Publisher's light blue cloth, stamped in gold and blue. Original printed dust jacket. A bright, crisp copy with very light rubbing to foot of cloth spine. Dust jacket is toned along the edges and spine, with light edge wear and chipping at the corners and spine ends. Jacket lightly toned with minor wear along edges and an area of discoloration to right side of front panel; quarter-sized area of surface loss to spine panel above publisher's name. A sharp, square copy in better than very good condition.
