Signed by the author on the title page. Publisher's binding with pictorial wrappers featuring image from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer adaptation starring Robert Ryan and Rod Steiger. Wrappers rubbed with two small bruises to rear panel, edges rubbed with light creasing at corners. Bookseller rubber stamp inside front wrapper with faint offsetting to front endpaper. Very Good, housed in custom clamshell.
