Pablo Neruda. Homenaje a Pablo Neruda. Madrid: Plutarco, 1935. First edition, consisting of the series of poems "Tres Cantos Materiales," a preliminary excerpt from the second part of Residencia en la Tierra, published later that year; association copy, inscribed by the author on the title-page: "A Norah Lange / suspirando, / Pablo Neruda." Octavo (8.9375 x 6.375 inches; 227 x 163). [7], [1, blank] pages. Publisher's side-stitched binding in original oversized wrappers, front wrapper printed in black, rear wrapper with publisher's device stamped in black. Front wrapper foxed and very faintly browned with some light marginal soiling; rear wrapper very lightly rubbed with some trace minor foxing and soiling. Text block with a tide mark to the bottom margin, not affecting any text; fore-edge lightly foxed. Very good. Published with the endorsement of some of Spain's most prominent poets, including Federico García Lorca, Jorge Guillen and Rafael Alberti. Norah Lange was a prominent South American avant-garde poet and friend of the author's ("Some of the best times in Neruda's Buenos Aires period were spent at the house of the remarkable poet, Oliverio Girondo, and his wife Norah Lange," Adam Feinstein.
