Viking Press, [1939].8vo. Publisher's beige cloth with reddish-brown line drawings, spine lettered in reddish-brown. Endpapers printed with a portion of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." Original color pictorial dust jacket.
FIRST EDITION. In an unusually bright and well-preserved dust jacket.
Condition: Dust jacket decoratively clipped as issued, price intact ($2.75), retaining "First Edition" on lower right of front flap. A few minor chips to jacket, slight wear along folds. Better preserved then usually found.
