Large 8vo. Title page printed in blue and black. Publisher's cream-colored calf vellum, title and author stamped in gilt on spine, Homeric bow stamped in gilt on front and back covers.

FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, one of the 100 copies on mould-made paper bound in calf vellum SIGNED BY JOYCE. The present copy unnumbered and presumably out-of-series, but designated as a "Presentation Copy" in ink beneath Joyce's signature.

Condition: Natural vertical flaw in the vellum on spine, somewhat discolored, binding a bit toned and soiled, a few small stains. Front hinge just starting but holding. Toning to textblock margins, some scattered foxing and thumbsoiling, a few marginal stains.
