LIMITED EDITION, one of only 250 copies signed by both Joyce and Matisse, this being number 111, from a total edition of 1,500. Large octavo. Illustrated with six etchings by Henri Matisse with their accompany sketches on blue and yellow paper. Publisher's brown buckram, front board gilt stamped and embossed in bas-relief, spine embossed and stamped in gilt. Cream-colored endpapers, top edge sprinkled brown, other edges untrimmed. Housed in a later cloth slipcase, spine of publisher's original slipcase pasted on.

Condition: A few small stains to boards, corners just rubbed, other minor edgewear. Hinges weak and starting. Internally clean with minor scattered foxing.
