Publisher's black cloth with printed gold paper labels affixed to spine and front board, orange topstain, in original first issue dust jacket. Jacket somewhat toned and rubbed, light edgewear, small chips and tears on edges. Light rubbing on extremities, spine paper label slightly chipped, topstain a bit faded, gutter starting with offsetting on front free endpaper verso and half-title. Very good, in a nice, bright dust jacket. Hanneman A7a.

More Information: Hemingway's second collection of short stories, ten of which were previously published in other magazines like The Atlantic Monthly and Scribner's Magazine. Includes most popular short tales, "Hills Like White Elephants" and "In Another Country."
