12mo. Publisher's vellum-covered boards stamped in gilt, partially uncut; quarter morocco slipcase.

FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, ONE OF ONLY FIFTEEN COPIES ON JAPAN VELLUM SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Number 7 of 15 copies printed on Japan vellum and signed by Millay.

This copy belonged to Mary Louise Curtis Bok (1876-1970), founder of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Cyrus H.K. Curtis and Louisa Knapp Curtis, who founded and served as the first editor (respectively) of the Ladies' Home Journal. Mary Louise wrote for the publication and married the long-time editor of the magazine, Edward W. Bok.

Condition: Minor wear and a few stains, some chipping to vellum. Textblock lightly toned, a few scattered stains.
