Presentation copy, inscribed by Burroughs to his daughter Joan and her husband, "To / Joan and Jim / with love and faith / Ed / Malibu / March 21, 1933". Octavo. [310], [1, list of Burroughs' novels], [1, blank] pages. With frontispiece and four illustrations by Studley Burroughs inserted throughout. Publisher's blue pebbled cloth, front board and spine stamped in red; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine toned, soiled, and edgeworn, some dampstaining, wear, and other soiling to boards. A bit of dampstaining to outer edge of text and plates. Light offsetting to endleaves. Many pencil markings on the list of Burroughs' novels. Jacket with some mild rubbing and creasing to edges.
