VERY RARE ADVANCE PROOF COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was the first published and the best known of Lewis' seven novels comprising The Chronicles of Narnia (1950-1956).

EXTREMELY RARE: According to online auction records, only one copy (the present copy) of this rare proof has appeared at auction.

Condition: Slight losses to spine ends; slightly leaned. Occasional minor creasing or thumbing.
