Stephen King. Carrie. Garden City: Doubleday & Company Inc., 1974.8vo. Publisher's maroon cloth, spine stamped in gilt; original pictorial dust jacket.
FIRST EDITION of the author's first book. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO DAVID ARONOVITZ on title-page: "For David - Best, Stephen King 6/3/83." With publisher's code "P6" printed in the gutter on final page of text.
Condition: Spine head just bumped. Dust jacket unclipped (priced "$5.95"); slight abrasion to spine; small stain to rear panel; light residue to rear flap; touch of edgewear. Overall, a bright copy of King's debut.
