Large 8vo. vii, 826 pp., in double columns. With illustrations. Rebacked with a portion of the original backstrip laid down. Hinges reinforced. Brown leather with gilt lettering to the spine and cover. Moderate wear with minor bumping to the corners. Tight binding; very attractive.More Information: The preliminary quarter of the book concerns an overview of the region's history, politics, cultural institutions, economic resources, climate, etc. The biographic section contains biographical sketches, including dates, place of origin, and family history, of many prominent individuals from the six counties and surrounding areas.
