Octavo (7.25 x 4.74 inches; 184 x 121 mm.). viii, 245, [1], [2, ads] pages (note: pages i-ii not accounted for and page [1] mis-numbered '2.') Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered and ruled in gilt, front board lettered in gilt and decoratively stamped in black. Backstrip dulled; occasional light soiling; spine ends and corners lightly rubbed; boards rubbed; touches of dampstaining to front and rear board. Front and rear hinges cracked and nearly broken, backstrip detaching from text block; front free endpaper detached; first two leaves excised; endpapers and text-block toned. Good. Hammond B4.
