George Orwell. Nineteen Eighty-Four [1984]. London: Secker and Warburg, 1949. First edition. Octavo. 312 pages. Publisher's green cloth, spine stamped in red; original printed dust jacket. Minor edgewear, corners bumped, spine sunned. Cream endpapers, all edges trimmed, top edge stained red. Internally clean and tight; text block lightly toned to margins and edges, minor text block edgewear. Dust jacket price-clipped; minor edgewear, somewhat rubbed and soiled, small narrow open tear to the middle of the spine panel, professional repairs on verso to edges and spine with a few minor color corrections to the edges on the recto.
