New York: Harper and Brothers, [1923]. 4to, illustrated with color plates, original black cloth, with color pictorial cover label, lettered in gilt on upper and spine. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING with code "I-X" on copyright. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR on the front free endpaper: "To Miss Sylvia Richmond / from / Zane Grey." Covers a little rubbed and dulled, light wear to extremities; minor marginal toning.

FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, with code "C-E" on copyright. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the front free endpaper in his purple ink. Spine very slightly faded with a touch of wear at ends, including tiny split at head; dust jacket with some minor edgewear reinforced on verso along folds and upper edge; jacket decoratively clipped, retaining price.
