(Chicago: Reilly & Britton, 1910), first edition, first state with five titles listed on the publisher's catalog opposite the half title page, 16 color plates incorporating an iridescent emerald green ink and illustrations in text by J. R. Neill, light blue cloth with pictorial pastedown on front cover, spine titles in black, pictorial endpapers, 8vo (7" x 9.25"), contents toned as usual with a light water stain at the top of the last third of pages, rear board has suffered significant water damage not materially affecting contents, edges of boards worn, boards toned and soiled, corners bumped and slightly frayed, else a tight copy in good condition.Auction Info
