Octavo. 318 pages. Illustrated with map to page [246]. Publisher's pictorial Fabroleen cloth (Type A) stamped in blind and gilt, with 3mm line detail to top of skull; original illustrated dust jacket by Richard Chopping.Condition: Somewhat skewed, minor edgewear, corners bumped, head and tail pushed, some rubbing along board edges. White endpapers; ownership signature and bookseller notations (many erased) to front flyleaf recto. Text block edges trimmed, minor wear, scattered staining bleeding into page margins; otherwise, internally clean. Dust jacket decoratively clipped, priced 15s; chipping along edges with some losses, small tears along spine folds, folds worn, somewhat soiled all-over, scattered foxing. Very good book in a very good dust jacket.
