No photo credit on the verso of the title page, printed at Vail-Ballou Press on the copyright page, top edge painted green, and the photo printed only on the front panel of the slipcase, not extending around the sides, as in later printings. Small octavo. 153 pages.

 

Publisher's green cloth over mustard pictorial boards with photograph printed on the front board. Housed in the matching yellow pictorial cloth slipcase with a printed paper label on the rear showing the price as $5.00). Minimal shelf wear to the binding. Slipcase somewhat timeworn, lightly soiled and stained. Near fine condition.
