Description
George Orwell. Nineteen Eighty-Four [1984]. London: Secker & Warburg, 1949.First edition. "First Published 1949" stated on the copyright page. Twelvemo. 312 pages.
Publisher's light green cloth with red spine lettering and the red issue dust jacket. Top edge stained red. Minimal edge wear present to the boards, lightly bumped corners, mild toning to the text edge. Dust jacket shows light rubbing to the panels and edges, with one small closed tear at the top of the front flap fold. Spine shows some sunning and minor wear at the ends. Overall, in very good condition. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.
