Frank Belknap Long. The Horror From the Hills. Sauk City: Arkham House, 1963.First edition, variant with copyright notice affixed to the title leaf verso. As originally published the copyright notice was inadvertently left off the copyright page. Examples with the copyright notice affixed are actually scarcer than those without. This example comes with a one page typed letter from Stuart Schiff, editor-publisher of Whispers to a previous owner of the book discussing the rarity of the variant. Twelvemo. 110 pages.
Publisher's black cloth with titles in gilt on the spine. A handsome copy internally and externally. Dust jacket, with art by Richard Taylor, is bright. Fine. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.
