Full leather, lettered and ruled in gilt. Marbled endpapers and edges. Joints of both volumes split, crackled spines laid down. Bindings worn, with moisture damage at fore-edges of boards. Some dampstaining to preliminary pages. Bindings sturdy, most pages bright. Two bookplates in each volume, one of which is Sir Harold Alfred MacMichael (1882-1969), a British colonial administrator in Africa. Very good.
