Donald Wandrei. Four First Editions, One Signed, including: The Eye and the Finger; The Web of Easter Island; Poems for Midnight; Strange Harvest. Sauk City, Wisconsin: Arkham House, 1944-1964.First hardcover editions. Four twelvemo volumes. Poems for Midnight is inscribed and signed on the title page by the author.
Black cloth with gilt spine titles. Overall, books and dust jackets are near fine to fine, except The Eye and the Finger, which is overall very good with some wear and toning. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Donald Wandrei (1908-1987) was a member of the H. P. Lovecraft "inner circle" and co-founded Arkham House with August Derleth. This lot includes all four of Wandrei's most well-known works. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.
