[The Doves Press]. T. J. Cobden-Sanderson. Credo. [Hammersmith: The Doves Press, 1908].First edition, printed on paper in black by T. J. Cobden-Sanderson at the Doves Press. Small octavo. 8 pages.
Full sumptuous dark brown crushed morocco with gilt titles on the upper cover. Double-ruled gilt turn-ins. All edges gilt. Small offsetting to endpapers from turn-ins. Fine condition.
Pencil notations on the front pastedown and colophon page by Cobden-Sanderson's friend Martha P. Laughlin reading "Presented by Mr. Cobden-Sanderson to his friends" and "Where we spent such a delightful afternoon in 1904. Lula T. Laughlin, Cynthia Richards and T. - Martha P. Laughlin," respectively.
