[Pennyroyal Press]. [Barry Moser, illustrator]. Lewis Carroll. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. West Hatfield, Massachusetts, 1982. The Pennyroyal Press Sesquicentennial Edition, one of 350 copies signed by Barry Moser (this being copy number 217). With the additional suite of seventy-four plates and one explanatory sheet, all signed by Moser. Folio (book is 16.5 x 10.5 inches; 416 x 266 mm.; loose plates are 16.5 x 10.75 inches; 416 x 274 mm.). Book is bound in publisher's half purple goat over marbled boards, boards ruled in gilt, spine lettered in gilt, pictorial endleaves. Portfolio containing the plates is in gray cloth. All housed in publisher's clamshell case bound in quarter purple goat over gray cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Clamshell case sunned at spine, some rubbing to clamshell, some offsetting to lining of clamshell. A fine copy in a near fine case.
