[Californiana]. Will Bradley. Collection of Nine Manuscript Borders and Assorted Ephemera. Housed together in a blue half-leather slipcase and chemise. Includes nine original manuscript borders designed and drawn by Will Bradley, one with manuscript notations along the bottom edge. Three examples have a small piece of the top left corner missing, with soiling to one. In addition to the borders, the chemise contains a Typed Letter Signed from Lewis Allen to Bradley soliciting an article on fine printing for the Book Club of California, a sampling of prospectuses, several small Christmas greeting cards address to or designed by Bradley, two pamphlets on the book arts, and a disbound publication called Vogue Ornaments. A note inside the box reads, "Lot of material by, about, & from the library of Will Bradley."Auction Info
