William Leighton and Eliza Barrett (translators). The History of Oliver and Arthur. Boston: Printed at the Riverside Press for Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1903. Limited edition of 330 copies. Designed by Bruce Rogers.Limited edition of 330 copies, of which this is number 301. Small quarto. 108 pages. Designed by Bruce Rogers, with his device and initials on colophon. Illustrated throughout with small black and white woodcuts. Title page features a woodcut illuminated with red, blue and gold.
Tan cloth backstrip over green paper boards; red-stamped paper label to spine. Minor wear to boards; tips of corners worn. A beautifully designed book in near fine condition.
